Robbery Victim Knocked Unconscious In Springfield: Police

The robbery happened as a person was walking to a restaurant on Easter, police say.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—A robbery victim became unconscious when an unknown person attacked him in Springfield on Easter Sunday.

Around 3:50 p.m. the victim was walking in the 6300 block of Springfield Plaza to a restaurant. The unknown suspect struck the victim in the head from behind. When the victim regained consciousness, he realized his items were stolen. Police did not disclose what was taken.

The victim was treated for minor injuries. No suspect description was available.
