A Vienna resident since 2000, she also served on the Windover Heights Board of Review, Vienna Arts Society's advisory committee and Historic Vienna, Inc.'s Walk on the Hill coordinator. Sienicki was formerly mayor pro-tempore and planning commissioner.

The parade starts on Maple Avenue at Branch Road SE and turns left on Center Street S for one block. Spectators can watch the parade on Maple Avenue between Branch Road SE and Center Street S. Floats and marchers line up on Branch Road SE and Berry Street SE.

Judges will decide on awards for youth band, float with music, float without music, youth performers, adult Performers, and antique vehicles. Town Council will present awards on Nov. 4 at 8 p.m.

The event happens rain or shine. The Town of Vienna asks spectators to note several rules on parade day:

  • Stay off the street and monitor children during the parade.
  • Do not physically engage with parade participants for their safety.
  • Do not place any items on Maple Avenue prior to noon the day of the parade.
  • When placing items, do not put them in bus shelters as they need to be clear for bus users during the day. Items placed in bus shelters prior to 5 p.m. may be moved for the safety of bus users.
  • Keep items off sidewalks and benches so that pedestrians can walk and use the benches without having to move or walk over items.
  • Secure all items to ensure that weather conditions do not cause them to blow into the roadway or sidewalks.
