It’s Friday, which means it’s time for the weekly Stuff Eater PDX Didn’t Cover column, also known as EaterWire. VACATION LUNCH — Eem, the perpetually buzzy Thai barbecue bar, is gearing up for lunch, according to its Instagram. The team is currently hiring some extra staff to handle the new service, so Eem fans should stay tuned for details and a start date. [EaterWire]

DELAYS FOR DAYS — Highly anticipated Filipino restaurant Magna has hit another speed bump. According to a Facebook post from chef and owner Carlo Lamagna, the restaurant’s contractor essentially ghosted him (rude), which has slowed things down. [EaterWire]
POKEMON GO (IN A YEAR) — A Pokemon-themed pop-up bar will land in Portland in July 2020. Pokébar will serve themed drinks, sling disturbing burgers designed to look like Charmanders, and offer costume contests, games, and trivia.
