Driver Seriously Injured In North Philadelphia Crash, May Have Been Driving Under The Influence, Officials Say  

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Two people are hurt in a violent overnight collision on Broad Street in North Philadelphia. The crash happened just after 2:30 a.m. Friday near Butler Street.

One of the cars ended up taking out a street sign and almost hitting a Checkers fast-food restaurant.

Officials tell Eyewitness News one of the drivers is being investigated for possibly driving under the influence.

2 People Hurt In Overnight Collision In North Philadelphia

A 26-year-old woman was treated for minor injuries. The man suspected of driving under the influence is in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
