Philadelphia Top Chef Drops a Cookbook This Fall

It can be hard to snag a reservation at petite East Passyunk eatery Laurel, so perhaps fans will be able to replicate the experience at home with the forthcoming cookbook from executive chef Nicholas Elmi and writer Adam Erace.

The restaurant announced the pre-sale of the book coming out in September, on Instagram. The post reads:

Aaaaaaaand pre-orders are live! @laurelepx cookbook is coming out this September. This has been such a cool experience writing with @adamerace and working with the team from @runningpressbooks I’m so excited to share our experiences and recipes with you.

Elmi’s French-influenced cooking is intricate, refined, and inventive, with each dish a graceful balance of flavors. While readers might be able to recreate the season 11 Top Chef winner’s recipes, they may have to work a little extra to pull in the non-food touches from Laurel, such as its plush seats, candlelit glow, and charming service.
