KINGSBURY — One man was taken to Albany Medical Center after a crash that involved four vehicles on Route 196 on Sunday morning, police said.
Jason Manell, 21, of Granville, was headed west when an eastbound vehicle turned into the path of one he was driving to enter Cornerstone Gospel Church, officials said.
Manell collided with a vehicle that was being driven by Erika St. John, 78, of Hudson Falls, and Manell's vehicle then ricocheted into two other eastbound cars that had slowed behind St. John as she stopped to turn.
Manell's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, but his condition was not immediately available Tuesday. Washington County Sheriff's Capt. Tony LeClaire said no other injuries were reported.
The investigation by sheriff's Deputy Travis Earl and Investigator Michael McWhorter was continuing this week, and no tickets were immediately issued.
