Southampton scored 3 in a match for the first time since late December en route to a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton and move 8 points clear of the bottom.

The Saints came out of the gates hot yet again and got on the scoresheet even faster than they did against Liverpool the week before. Nathan Redmond found the back of the net twice and Long found it the third time but it would not have been out of the question to nab 4 or 5.

Hasenhuttl’s men were in charge of the match for most of the day and really felt like they were in the driver’s seat except for the time between their first goal and when Wolves leveled.
