Southampton have shown interest in Celtic midfielder Oliver Ntcham and are willing to swap deal for him with Fraser Forster.

The out-of-favor goalkeeper has been spending the past season at Celtic where he has been finding some fine form again and is a fan favorite. Now, the Saints want to go back to the Celtic well and bring in midfielder Ntcham.

Celtic, are keen on bringing in Forster and have made no secret of that. There is really no future for the one-time number one at the South Coast and it would make sense to let him go if we can get a player we want in return.

There is some speculation how serious Southampton are due to all the coronavirus concerns but they could still be looking to make some deals when the transfer window does open again. Ntcham, is more than likely to leave the club so it would be best for both clubs to get this deal done.

I believe that the Southampton squad could look very different in the 2020/21 season. There are going to be a lot of out-of-favor players who are hopefully sold and with the cash generated from those sales we can hopefully bring in some fresh blood who will pan out better than the ones we bought the past few season under those other managers.

We all hope the season can resume soon and we get to see our favorite players back out on the pitch scoring goals. Until then stay safe!
