Sharp-Shooting Abilene Wylie Too Much for Lake View in Catclaw Opener

 

ABILENE, TX-- A 31-6 run in the second quarter ultimately doomed the Lake View Chiefs against Abilene Wylie in the opener of the Catclaw Classic tournament.

Lake View held with the Bulldogs, trailing 16-14 after the first quarter. Wylie's big second quarter put the game pretty much out of reach at 47-20 going into the half.

The Chiefs were outscored 26-11 in the second half.

Junior Ryan Avalos led the Chiefs in scoring with nine points.

Lake View faces Canyon and Brook Hill on Friday.
