Minnesota adds linebacker from Floridian powerhouse program for 2020
Minnesota just had a really good season. And, sure, it isn’t over yet. But at 10-2 overall, nobody can scoff at the Golden Gophers and what they achieved.

What does success eventually equate to? Better recruiting. And, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Minnesota will all of a sudden be ready to snag 5-star after 5-star player. But, it does mean that whenever coach P.J. Fleck wants a player and is battling with other schools, he can point to Minnesota’s recent success.

On Saturday afternoon, news broke that the Golden Gophers landed a 3-star linebacker from Florida’s prestigious IMG Academy in Jaqwondis Burns:

As Burns stated, he’s all in. According to 247Sports, Burns ranks as the No. 41 OLB in the Class of 2020. He is now the 23rd commit for Minnesota in 2020.
