Manchester City are very interested in signing Inter defender Milan Skriniar according to a report from British broadcaster Sky Sports.

The Slovakian international has cemented himself as one of the best defenders on the planet since joining Inter back in the Summer of 2017 from Sampdoria and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is understood to be dreaming about the prospect of signing him in the Summer transfer window.

Skriniar arrived at Inter in a player plus cash deal worth a total of €30 million but it will take significantly more than that to prize him away from the Nerazzurri now.

The 24-year-old centre back has been virtually ever present since joining Inter and has made 111 appearances across all competitions since his arrival.

The former MSK Zilina player has made 25 of those appearances during the course of this season. He has missed just one of Inter’s games this season but has otherwise played every single minute of the Nerazzurri’s campaign.
