There is a ton of momentum to having a 2020 college football season these days. No definite signs, yet, but the season would start less than 100 days from now.

A transfer from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, Knowles racked up 394 yards on 131 rushing attempts with three of those touches going to the house.

Knowles joins Seth McGowan, T.J. Pledger, Todd Hudson, Marcus Major, Kennedy Brooks, and Rhamondre Stevenson as one of seven running backs in Oklahoma’s running back room.

The Sooners rushed for 3,395 yards in 2019 and were lead by 1,000-yard rushers Jalen Hurts ( 1,298) and Kennedy Brooks (1,011). With Hurts’ departure and Stevenson’s suspension likely to be upheld by the NCAA, Brooks will have to carry the majority of the load at least for the first half of the season unless backs like Knowles can step up to fill the loss of production.
