AUSTIN, Texas – For the second time, the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will be participating in a virtual concert series with other airports across the country.

The JetStream Music Festival is Wednesday, August 19, for free on Facebook Live.

This time, the festival will be hosted by Austin’s own Jackie Venson and will feature a performance from Kenny Loggins. He will be preforming from the Santa Barbara Airport.

The concert will start at 5 p.m. and viewers will have the option to tip artists virtually.

“Summer is a time typically full of music festivals and live events, especially in Austin, where millions of travelers from across the globe visit our city to experience what makes us the Live Music Capital of the World,” said Jacqueline Yaft, chief executive officer of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, in a written statement. “While COVID-19 has forced us to adapt to new changes both in our community and nationwide, we are thrilled that airports across the country are joining us to bring even more live music direct to audiences’ living rooms.”
