DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles Lakers super fan Tanya Hubbard is upside down with excitement about the big trade that will bring Anthony Davis to Los Angeles.

She believes the move will putt her purple and gold back on the path to glory.

“My expectation is to win a championship. If we’re doing all this, we better win a championship. We better be in some type of contention,” Hubbard proclaimed.

But she knows her beloved team gave up a lot to get the big man from New Orleans, including Lonzo Ball, the once prized point guard.

“Not a big deal to me,” said Lavar Ball, Lonzo’s father. “My thing for Zo, is to make sure he’s healthy. I don’t care who play for. I just want to make sure he gets himself right to be able to play.”

As the Big Baller Brand era comes to an end in Los Angeles, Hubbard is ready for her team to return to the championship days of Kobe and company. It’s been almost 10 years since she saw her squad win it all. Now she’s ready to let all of Los Angeles know her team is back.

“Let’s be clear who runs L.A., it is not the Clip show. Y’all share the Staples Center with us. I don’t see any Clippers statues out here. So, to me, I think the last couple of years that was the biggest struggle," said Hubbard. "Clippers fans felt like they had a right to even be in the conversation. So now its like y’all take ya’ll seat at the end of the bench where you guys belong and let’s get the Lake show poppin.”

The future of the Lakers is now and fans like Tanya Hubbard are ready to add new memories to their collection.
