After a day's rest, the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy resumes again on Thursday, November 14. Eighteen matches are scheduled. Join us for the action. Until then, it's goodbye.

Puducherry vs Mumbai | Puducherry falls well short of its target of 172, finishing on 144 for 7 in its 20 overs. Paras Dogra and Anand Subramanian were the chief run-makers for Puducherry, scoring 45 and 39 respectively.

J&K vs Odisha | It's a close finish at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat, too. Odisha, chasing a target of 165, finished on 161 for 7 in its 20 overs. Towards the end, Odisha lost a few wickets and despite frantic run-making from Ankit Yadav (18 n.o., 8b, 2x4, 1x6) and Suryakant Pradhan (10, 3b, 1x4, 1x6), the victory could not be clinched.

Umar Mir, Auqib Dar and Abid Ahmed took two wickets each.

Rajasthan vs Vidarbha | It's an extremely close finish at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Rajasthan's 13-over target was 107, and it finally managed to score 105 for 8. Opener Manendra Singh scored 44 but none of the others contributed more than 15 as wickets fell consistently.

Off-spinner Akshay Wakhare was the chief wicket-taker, taking 3 for 15 in his three overs.

Despite Deepak Chahar's four wicket haul, Rajasthan fell to a one-run loss (VJD method).

Mumbai vs Puducherry | In four overs, Puducherry needs 48 more runs to win, with six wickets in hand. Paras Dogra got out for 45, off 35 deliveries, off the bowling of Tushar Deshpande.

J&K vs Odisha | Odisha has an uphill task ahead. It needs another 56 runs to win in less than five overs, with six wickets in hand. It's just lost three wickets for four runs. Sandeep Pattanaik scored a half-century before departing. He had a fruitful partnership of 72 runs with Subhransu Senapati.

Puducherry vs Mumbai | It's 12 overs up in the chase, and Puducherry is well in the hunt on its target of 172. It's lost three wickets, and Paras Dogra (36 n.o., 30b, 3x4, 2x6) and Anand Subramanian A. (15 n.o., 13b, 0x4, 1x6) are batting. Shams Mulani has taken two wickets.

Another 82 runs are needed in eight overs.

Rajasthan vs Vidarbha | Fresh from his hat-trick for India against Bangladesh in Nagpur, seamer Deepak Chahar has produced an encore for his domestic side. Rajasthan has been able to restrict Vidarbha to 99 for 9 at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The last three wickets fell for one run, Chahar responsible for all of them, off consecutive deliveries.

Goa v Uttarakhand in Visakhapatnam: Chasing 120 for victory, Uttarakhand is 56 for two after 10 overs. Openers Dikshanshu Negi (5) and Karn Kaushal (35) have been dismissed, but with eight wickets in hand, the side will fancy itself to knock off the remaining runs.

Bengal v Haryana at BKC Mumbai: Chasing 123 for victory, Haryana is 68 for four after eight overs. While it is well ahead of the required run rate, Haryana losing four wickets will keep Bengal interested. Harshal Patel has just been dismissed for a 27-ball 35, bringing Rahul Tewatia to join Rohit Sharma in the middle.

Jharkhand v Sikkim in Surat: Only captain Iqbal Abdulla got into double figures (20) for Sikkim, which is bundled out for 63 in 16 overs. Anukul Roy and Utkarsh Singh take three wickets apiece, while Vivekanand Tiwari takes two.

Chandigarh v Hyderabad in Chandigarh: After electing to bat first, Chandigarh is bowled out for 123 in 19.5 overs. Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj and spinner Mehdi Hassan took three wickets apiece to help restrict Chandigarh. In reply, Hyderabad is 29 for no loss in the third over with Tanmay Agarwal (batting on 19 off 8 balls) and Ambati Rayudu (batting on 9 off 6 balls) off to good starts.

Goa v Uttarakhand in Visakhapatnam: Uttarakhand bowlers restrict Goa to 119 for nine in 20 overs after captain Tanmay Srivastava won the toss and elected to bowl first. Mayank Mishra was the standout bowler with figures of 4-0-6-4. In reply, Uttarakhand is 37 for one after five overs. Dikshanshu Negi is the batsman dismissed, but Karn Kaushal and captain Srivastava have forged a 32-run partnership for the second wicket to put the run chase back on track.

After a good start provided by wicketkeeper-batsman Shreevats Goswami, Bengal's innings has stumbled to 77 for five in 13 overs. Goswami was dismissed for a 17-ball 30, but Easwaran being dismissed for a second-ball duck is the biggest scalp for Haryana so far.

Karnataka v Services in Bokaro: Set a target of 251, Services manages only 170 for seven in 20 overs, giving Karnataka an 80-run win. Ravi Chauhan (54 off 35 balls) and Rajat Paliwal (unbeaten 30-ball 46) were the only two batsmen to make a substantial score. Shreyas Gopal takes five for 19 in four overs for Karnataka.

Gujarat v Nagaland in Surat: Gujarat bowlers restrict Nagaland to 100 for seven to secure a 99-run win for their team. Roosh Kalaria is the pick of the Gujarat bowlers with figures of 4-0-13-2.

Delhi v Saurashtra in Surat: Anuj Rawat's unbeaten 88 (58 balls) helps Delhi get over the line to earn a six-wicket win after a mini wobble. Assam v Meghalaya at Wankhede Stadium: Chasing 109 for victory, Meghalaya wins by four wickets and with seven balls to spare. Wickets at regular intervals kept Assam interested despite defending a low total, but R.R. Delhi v Saurashtra in Surat: Chasing 174 for victory, Delhi is 122 for one after 14 overs.
