Truro Set To Return

Officials with Truro Raceway have issued some updates in regard to the track's return to racing, which includes a qualifying session that is scheduled for this coming weekend and details about the track's meet-opening card.

Truro is scheduled to host a qualifying session this Sunday (May 31) at 12:00 noon. To enter, call 902-893-8075 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Friday (May 29).

Truro's first live race card has been scheduled for Friday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. (the draw date will be Tuesday, June 2).

Track officials have told Trot Insider that The Return to Racing Handbook has been updated, and that the track's most up-to-date version will always be available here. The newest changes will be highlighted in yellow (please follow the protocols that have been provided).

All new procedures and protocols must be strictly followed. Please familiarize yourself with these details. Paper copies of the handbook will be available in the barnyard or reach out to racing officials for more information.

Truro officials have conveyed that they are looking forward to the track's return to racing, and that it is with the cooperation of racing families that it is able to do so. The track is insisting that participants follow all guidelines, including that no fans will be permitted on site at this time (only essential personnel, as outlined in the guidelines).

For now, fans are encouraged to follow online at truroraceway.ca and through HPI Bet.
