Leeds 2-4 Derby: Frank Lampard appears to spend over £2,800 on bar bill to celebrate play-off semi-final win
Lampard led Derby to a Wembley meeting with Aston Villa by securing an incredible victory at Elland Road earlier this week
Frank Lampard and Derby had every reason to celebrate after reaching the Championship play-off final... and it appears they did just that.
In a thrilling encounter at Elland Road on Wednesday, Derby overturned a 1-0 first leg defeat to beat Leeds 4-2 and secure their spot at Wembley, where they will face Aston Villa for a place in the Premier League.
Derby deservedly enjoyed the fallout of their victory, with multiple pictures emerging on social media of Lampard and his players partying at The King's Head in Duffield.
And it appears Lampard went all-out with the celebrations, with a bar bill - alleged to be from the night in question - totalling over £2,800.
There is no confirmation that it was Derby who racked up the bar tab, but an eagle-eyed fan shared a picture of a King's Head bill with the caption, 'Lampards [sic] bar bill good lad'.
The bill proves the drink was flowing, with the receipt showing 209 beers, 75 Jagermeisters, 65 shots of Grey Goose vodka, 54 Sambucas and 38 tequilas, as well as five bottles of Prosecco, were purchased.

The Derby boss mocked Leeds fans by singing one of their owns chants in the dressing room after Wednesday's match.
A bitter rivalry formed between the clubs this season over the ‘spygate’ scandal, with Lampard calling foul play after Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa admitted to sending staff to secretly watch opponents’ training sessions.
But the former England and Chelsea midfielder had the last laugh, as he turned their own ‘spygate’ song against them by belting out ‘Stop crying Frank Lampard’ with his players in the wake of the incredible victory.
