Championship 2019/20 kits: All the confirmed strips so far, including Leeds, Derby and Nottingham Forest

A number of jerseys range from the bold to very simple ahead of the new season

The 2019/20 Championship season is nearly upon us - and as always the 24 clubs will all be donning new kits.

Teams have started to release images of their new shirts ranging from the creative and bold to the downright plain and simple.

The likes of Derby and Hull have gone for eye-catching print on their strip and they will hope it is their football that makes the headlines more than their design of choice.

There are also smart but effective shirts from Preston and Stoke, who have not deviated too much away from tradition keeping with the notion that less can sometimes be more.

Barnsley

The Tykes return to the Championship with a Puma strip inspired by their famous West Stand wall.

The Investment Room is their new sponsor on the front, with Palmer Construction remaining on the back of the shirt.

Birmingham

The club collaborated with Garrison Tailors - the official suppliers to the Peaky Blinders show and is once again produced by adidas.

This season, Birmingham have opted for a royal blue, with a darker navy for the sleeves, which is finished off on the sleeves and round neck collar with yellow.

Blackburn

Rovers have returned to a deeper shade of blue after wearing a lighter colour last season.

Betting company 10 Bet remain as the sponsor while Umbro continue to make the kit.

Brentford

Having been with adidas, the Bees will now have their shirts made by Umbro and their first effort has more of a vintage look compared to recent seasons with thicker stripes and a chunky V-neck collar.

Bristol City

Both Bristol City strips feature the long awaited return of the Robin to the club crest.

The Championship club are often referred to as ‘The Robins’, but the garden bird has not featured on their crest since 1949.

Following a consultation which gathered thousands of responses, the robin has now made its long-awaited return.

The year ‘1894’ is also printed on the new badge to celebrate 125 years since the club’s original formation as Bristol South End.

Cardiff City

Adidas have made a classic blue home shirt for Cardiff, featuring small black dots, while the away kit is a very bold orange with a blue trim.

Charlton

The official colour for this third kit design is 'scuba and marine'. There is also hints of grey and dark blue panels in the armpit of the shirt and it is completed with navy shorts and socks for a classy and understated look.

Taking pride of place in the centre of the shirt, is sponsor Children with Cancer UK,  following the announcement that BETDAQ’s holding company GVC had donated their sponsorship for the 2019/20 season.

Derby

Inspired by the kit from the promotion-winning season of 1995/96, the home kit has managed to reinvent a new intricate graphic that also showcases the iconic stanchions that adorn the skyline of Pride Park.

The unique design feature is placed on the sleeve in a zebra-style pattern to offer a different take on the traditional white look.

Their away kit is a bold and striking atomic blue, with a matt-shine shattered diamond jacquard fabric on the shirt.

Fulham

Fulham will don a simple white and black strip in the Championship next season following their relegation from the Premier League.

It features the classic three adidas stripes down the side on the shirt and a subtle red on the collar.

Their away kit will be red with white adidas stripes on the shoulders. Both kits have been made with recycled polyesters to help save resources and decrease emissions.



Hull

Umbro gives a nod to the infamous ‘tiger skin’ shirts worn between 1992 and 1995 with this stunning effort.

A claw tear graphic covers the top of the shirt just below the neck, to give the shirt a very distinct look that has been widely praised by fans.

Meanwhile, they add to a history of white away kits for the 2019/20 season, with a nod back to the shirt they wore during the 1992/93 campaign.

Leeds United

The home shirt is once again designed by Kappa and it is an all white number, embroidered with the gold crest, featuring a platinum trim to mark the 100 year milestone.

Furthermore, the words ‘Leeds United 1919-2019’ is embedded into the detail of the fabric on the back of the shirt.

The top also has sponsors 32Red and Clipper branded across the middle and printed in platinum to compliment the overall design of the shirt.

The Hatters are back in the Championship and they haven't been afraid to mix it up with orange waves, along with white and black sleeves.

Luton's alternative jersey continues a 'disruptive' theme from Puma and the club say it takes inspiration from their chequered flag, while the third kit below is a commemorative shirt for their 135th anniversary, using the colours from their first ever shirt.

Middlesbrough

Danish manufacturers Hummel have produced a red kit with a sharp graduated white striped pattern at the top of the shirt, inspired by the iconic 1987-1990, while the second kit is white with a red and navy band through the centre.

Millwall

Millwall's home kit features their iconic navy colour with white sleeves, sponsored by the club's principal partner Huski Chocolate.

The Macron strip is completed with white shorts and navy socks.

Nottingham Forest

Another Macron kit, Nottingham Forest's new home strip features a subtle diamond design with sponsors Football Index on the front.

The shirt also includes the club’s name in the collar tape, with ‘est. 1865’ on the back of the neck.

Preston North End

As expected the Preston shirt is trademark white and will have navy blue pattern on the collar and down the torso, based on Nike's new legend teamwear template.

Queens Park Rangers

The Hoops unveiled their new strips and the home kit is, as always, blue and white, but Errea have given it a lovely collar, while their away strip has a refreshing aqua and blue colour combination.



Stoke City

The home kit is the usual white and red, but the added difference this season is a buttoned collar and sleeve cuffs for a traditional look.

For the away strip, Stoke have opted for a more modern design in black with grey sleeves and finished with red trim for the badge and sponsors.

Swansea City

The Swans will have a new look for next season with their stylish new Joma kits.

To mark 50 years since Swansea upgraded from a town to a city, the words ‘Oh City Said I’ feature around the inside waist of both shirts.

West Brom

Having gone with a vintage look last season, the Baggies have opted for a more modern look this time around, adding more stripes, complete with Puma template graphic on the sleeve.

The sponsor in the centre merges well with the overall design and the logo is a bold red.

Wigan Athletic

The new home kit reintroduces pin stripes to the front and back whilst maintaining the green pop colour, while the Latics' new away kit features a bespoke hexagonal graphic with inspiration grown from the famous FA Cup winning jersey.
