Gary Neville thinks Manchester United must sell Alexis Sanchez amid Inter transfer link – ‘He’s been an absolute disaster’
Gary Neville has urged Manchester United to shift Alexis Sanchez as soon as possible, amid links to Inter Milan.
The Chilean has endured a torrid time at Old Trafford since joining from Arsenal in January 2018.
Sanchez, the Premier League's highest-paid player, netted just twice in 27 appearances last season, and Neville has labelled the forward's time in Manchester 'an absolute disaster'.
The 30-year-old is reportedly in talks with Inter Milan over a possible loan deal before the Serie A transfer window closes on September 2.
And Neville insists his former club must ensure the move gets over the line.

"Sanchez has been an absolute disaster," Neville said on Sky Sports on Monday. "I have no idea what's happened to him. There must be two of them.
"The one that's turned up in Manchester I have no idea who that is. He needs to get him out of the club. He needs to get a couple out this year, he needs to get a couple out next year."
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refused to rule out the departure of Sanchez this summer.
Speaking after United’s 1-1 draw with Wolves on Monday night, the United manager confirmed there are a number of clubs interested in signing the Chilean forward.
When asked if there was any news on Sanchez’s future, the United boss said: “Well, there’s still a couple of weeks left of the transfer window and there is a chance. Some clubs have shown interest in Alexis, so we’ll see what happens.
“I can’t update you more than that.”
