Was the newest British royal, baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, born in a birthing pool? Or, perhaps he entered the world as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, labored in her bed at Frogmore Cottage at Windsor Castle, assisted by a midwife or doula?

Ehh ... no. Turns out #BabySussex was born in a place common to us commoners: the hospital.

According to the Washington Post, the royals released Archie’s birth certificate Friday, and it showed he was born at Portland Hospital, an American-owned, upscale, private medical center in London’s Westminster neighborhood.

No birth weight or length was given, but the certificate indicated that the baby royal entered the world on May 6 to father, Prince Harry, aka “His Royal Highness Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex,” and mother, Meghan née Markle, aka “Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex.”

The document noted Meghan’s birthplace of California in these United States, and gave as her occupation: “Princess of the United Kingdom.”
