Lincoln up into top 20 of The Guardian University Guide

The University of Lincoln has moved up five places to its highest ever position of 17th in The Guardian University Guide 2020.

The Guardian University Guide produced by Intelligent Matrix ranks 121 universities on a number of criteria including student satisfaction and staff to student ratio. The guide is for undergraduates choosing courses for 2020 entry.

In 2018 Lincoln rose from 47th to its then highest ever position of 22nd .

Lincoln was placed 17th in the latest edition of the guide published on Friday, June 7, 2019.

The league table placing follows a series of achievements over the last year including a multi-million pound grant to advance research into a ‘Holy Grail’ medical imaging system for cancer patients, the establishment of Lincolnshire’s first medical school and a top ten ranking in the National Student Survey.

The University was also rated TEF Gold – the highest standard possible – in a national independent assessment of teaching quality in higher education.
