String of Lincoln incidents spark CCTV appeals

Police would like to speak to the five people pictured after a wave of thefts and fraud in Lincoln.

Stolen card spending spree

A CCTV picture of a man and woman to the right was released in relation to fraudulent use of a bank card.

It was lost along with a purse in Burton Waters and then used for a number of purchases in Lincoln.

Officers posted the appeal on June 10 after the fraud was reported earlier this year.

Anyone who recognises the man and woman should call 101, quoting incident 377 of February 28.

Gambling machines targeted

Lincolnshire Police also issued an appeal for a man and a woman, pictured on the left, after a theft and attempted theft.

On June 1, a man and woman tried to steal money from a gambling machine at The Lion & Snake but were unsuccessful.

The incident followed another on May 26 where money was stolen from a different gambling machine at Wetherspoons on the High Street.

Anyone who recognises the man and woman should call 101, quoting incident 311 of June 3.

Boots raid

Officers would also like to speak to the man pictured in the middle of the picture above after a theft at the Boots store in the Carlton Centre

The theft happened on June 4. Anyone who recognises the man should call 101, quoting incident 198 of June 4.
