BBC Radio 4 show heading to Lincoln

Answering your gardening questions

BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time is heading to Lincoln next month.

The show, which attracts two million listeners a week, will be recorded at Alive Church on Newland in Lincoln at 6pm on September 3 (doors open at 5pm).

The event will be hosted by Lincoln-based gardening charity Green Synergy.

Kathy Clugston will be in the chair joined by a panel of gardening experts, including Matthew Wilson, who will record a piece at the Green Synergy Garden prior to the live show.

The panel will tackle the questions put to them by local gardening enthusiasts and any profits made from this event will go directly to support the work of Green Synergy.

Gardeners’ Question Time has answered over 30,000 questions since its inception in 1947. However, the panel never see the questions before the recording.

Tickets cost £4.50 and are available to purchase online from Ticket Tailor here and on the Green Synergy Website, Facebook page and Twitter.

Tickets will also be available for collection from the Green Synergy office on August 21 and 27 or on the door at Alive Church from 5pm on the day of the event.
