Man dies after being found on Lincoln bridge

His next of kin have been made aware

A 60-year-old local man died after being found on a bridge in Lincoln by members of the public on Thursday evening.

Lincolnshire Police officers were called to the bridge across Broadgate just after 8.30pm on Thursday, April 30.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “A 60-year-old local man was found on the bridge by members of the public.

“He was sadly pronounced dead on scene. His next of kin have been made aware. A report has been made to the coroner.”

No further details are expected to be announced by officials at the time of writing.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
