Police investigate Lincoln Waitrose ATM theft

A cash box was taken

A cash box was allegedly stolen from an ATM at Waitrose in Lincoln, prompting a police investigation.

The offenders entered the store on Searby Road via a back door just after midnight on May 20. They are said to have attacked the ATM before leaving with a cash box from inside it.

Police believe the suspects made off in a black Audi estate car, but no arrests have yet been made.

Investigations are ongoing and police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area leading up to the theft.
