Albany library plans Fall Silent Auction
books

ALBANY — The Albertson Memorial Library is preparing for their 12th annual Fall Silent Auction. Last year’s silent auction funds have been used to purchase four new computers for the library. Traditionally, silent auction funds have been used to support, maintain or update library technology.

The library is now accepting donations for the auction. Individual gifts, gift certificates or themed baskets are all appreciated. Individual gifts may be grouped into a themed basket. Items may be mailed or dropped off at Albertson Memorial Library, 200 N. Water Street, Albany. Contact the library at 608-862-3491, or email us at albertsonlibrary@gmail.com with questions or need someone to pick up a donation.

Consider making a donation by Sept. 1. Baskets and items will be on display from Sept. 16 until Oct. 5. Bidding will close at noon Saturday, Oct. 5 during Albany’s Fall Festival.
