‘Kohima Anthem’, a brand new music video by CJ Gurung featuring Macnivil is doing rounds across social media platforms, especially among Nagaland users, amid the lockdown that is in place all over the country, including Nagaland.

Released on March 24, the catchy number is a tribute to the Nagaland capital and the people residing there.

“These are testing times for everyone. While we stay indoors to keep ourselves safe from the Coronavirus, it doesn’t mean that social distancing or quarantine have to be boring. Keeping this idea in mind, the Kohima Anthem music video was released so that people from all walks of life can enjoy it from the comfort of their home during this lockdown period. The song is about celebration and a tribute to the beautiful city of Kohima and the people dwelling in it. Through this project we would like to convey that each moment of our life matters, it is about counting every small blessings that come our way and also acknowledging our relationship with people and places,” the team said.

The music video was directed by Hriiyio Paul of Naga Twist Productions and was recorded, mixed and mastered at Clef Ensemble with Ket on the Beat as the co-producer.

“We urge everyone to be strong during this difficult time and also request them to stay indoors and stay safe,” the team said.
