This weekend marks the end of May! Savor the last days of the month by trying new activities! Check out social distancing events in the city or tune into a Zoom meeting to see what’s going on!

ThisWeekinWorcester.com has an exciting list of opportunities to jazz up your weekend. Make the most of your time by supporting local businesses, attending virtual readings, arranging a trivia night, or finding new fashion trends.

Satisfy your inner foodie!

This Saturday Woo Trucks is hosting a Pandemic Foodie Run. This event is taking safety measures by spreading out the food trucks at two locations — Greater Good Imperial Brewing Co. on Millbrook St. and Austin Liquors on Park Ave.

You will also be rewarded for wearing a mask, distancing yourself from others, and supporting the trucks and their sponsors by receiving tokens. The person with the most tokens will win $100!

Registration costs $3 and the event will help raise money for the Worcester Animal Rescure League.  It runs from 12 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, May 30.

Cheer on your local dancers!

This Saturday from 12 PM to 2 PM Chickee’s Dance World on 67 Millbrook Street in Worcester will be commemorating their scheduled recital day with a parking lot parade.

They are inviting you to make songs or wave from your car to make the day special for their dancers.

Have a few stories read to you before going to bed!

Twenty Stories is holding a free virtual reading series every Saturday night. Tune in at 8 PM to their Speak. Easy. Virtual Reading event in which three authors will read from their latest works on CROWDCAST.

There will be a Q & A after the event!

Have you been using streaming services and keeping up to date on social media? You are in luck!

The Norwich Events Organization is hosting a Netflix, Disney, and Pop Culture Trivia Night you can play at home. With the purchase of a $5 ticket, you will be given a Zoom link to join the fun. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, so get your family together and team up for a fun experience.

Are you tired of wearing sweatpants? This weekend is the perfect time to upgrade your wardrobe!

This weekend you can shop all day online at the 2020 Virtual Bazaar hosted by Mirrorball Boutique. Follow the event with this link and browse online through a series of vendors with unique vintage clothes and accessories.
