'BJP cadres' attack Manik Sarkar's convoy

AGARTALA: In the second such attack in under a week, a CPM convoy led by former CM Manik Sarkar came under ambush reportedly from BJP cadres at Bishalgarh in Sepahijala district on Friday.
Former CPM legislator Narayan Choudhury and 10 party workers were injured in the attack.
CPM leaders were on their way to an event commemorating the November Revolution at Bishalgarh when they were ambushed and confined for hours.The attack came just a day after veteran CPM leader and South Tripura zilla parishad chief Himangshu Roy and five other CPM rural body leaders were assaulted, allegedly by BJP cadres South Tripura.
