The Tripura government on Monday suspended an SDPO and a constable for serious negligence of duty during the Northeast Students' Organisation agitation in Agartala on January 8.
AGARTALA: The Tripura government on Monday suspended an SDPO and a constable for serious negligence of duty during the Northeast Students' Organisation agitation in Agartala on January 8.
The students' body was protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016. The health department was also asked to initiate criminal prosecution against Dr Abhishek Majumdar of the Khumlung hospital for not discharging his duties.
