Minor girl's charred body found in Tripura

AGARTALA: The charred body of a minor girl was found in Durgabari area of Mohanpur in West Tripura on Friday morning. The incident comes close on the heels of the discovery of a charred body of a 22-yr-old woman in Rangacherra village of Mohanpur.
Though cops claimed that it can be a suicide, the girl's family said there was no reason for her to take the extreme step. The deceased was studying in Class VII."Her charred body was found in a nearby jungle and an empty drum of kerosene was also found on the spot. It's surprising that no one could smell kerosene or hear the victim's screams," said a police officer.
