AHMEDABAD: A 24-year-old woman from Dholka town of Ahmedabad has filed a complaint with district police alleging that her ex-boyfriend and his friends were blackmailing her on the pretext of making her ‘personal selfie’ viral if she does not have sex with them.
The complainant, who is married for four years and a mother of three-year-old girl, stated in her FIR, with Dholka town police, that she had met the accused, Jafar Hussain Divan, who was brother of her friend, three years ago.

“We had fallen in love with each other and exchanged our selfies on whattsapp but I refrained from having sex with him,” states the complainant in her FIR filed on Friday.
After some time, Divan began threatening the complainant to have sex with him or else he will tell her husband that she had indulged into physical relations with him. “Though I kept loving Divan and continued to send more personal pictures,” she states.
Meanwhile, Divan sent those personal selfies to his friend named Aslam Radhanpuri, who was also a resident of Dholka. Now, Radhanpuri got the complainant’s number and began blackmailing her. Now, the complainant fell in love with Radhanpuri.
“As Radhanpuri also had my personal pictures and he began blackmailing me, somehow this act made me to fall in love with him also. However, I talked and chatted with him on cellphone but did not have sex with him,” states the complainant.

Now, both of them began demanding for sex simultaneously. On August 15, both of them barged into complainant’s house. “Jafar came on the second floor where I stayed and began asking me on why I refrained from having sex with both of them. He told me that I betrayed both of them and slapped me while threatening that he will make my personal selfies viral,” states the complainant.
Then, the duo sent her objectionable pictures to complainant’s cousin and threatened her that they will send the pictures to other community members to defame her. After this, the woman approached police and filed a case of stalking, assault, criminal intimidation, abetment along with charges of Information and Technology (IT) act.
