Conference on cancer begins

Ahmedabad: The maiden Can Con (Cancer Conclave) started off in Ahmedabad on Saturday where over 50 medical practitioners from across the state will participate to learn from international oncologists . The event, organized by CBCC, will focus on colorectal and breast cancer for this edition, mentioned organizers, as these two are among top five cancers prevailing in Indian population.
Lt Gen (Dr) Velu Nair, group head - medical services, CBCC, said that the conclave aims to help further the cutting-edge research conducted in the field. tnn
