Cycle expedition reaches Sabarmati Ashram

AHMEDABAD: MoS Home, Pradipsinh Jadeja and Major General Roy Joseph ADG, NCC Directorate Gujarat, Daman, Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, jointly flagged in the 'Karmbhoomi to Janmbhoomi' cycle expedition on Monday, at the Sabarmati Ashram.
The event also featured sharing of experiences by cadets and a nukkad natak (street play) on Gandhian philosophy. The minister praised the cadets for their hard work and was appreciative of NCC as an organization and its role in nation building.ADG gave an overview of NCC activities and the recent emphasis on social responsibility while spreading the message of Mahatma Gandhi.
The expedition was organized by NCC Group HQ, Ahmedabad, under the aegis of NCC Dte Gujarat, Daman, Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
