DGP launches book on digital evidence

AHMEDABAD: DGP Shivanand Jha released a book on cybercrime at Karai Police Training Academy, Gandhinagar, on Friday. The book, written by ATS SSP Himanshu Shukla and crime branch DCP Deepan Bhadran, ‘Digital Evidence, Gathering, Analysis and Presentation’, includes guidelines on gathering digital evidence, tracking sensitive cyber trails and presenting them in court to get convictions.
Jha said that at a time when people are going digital, the book is a valuable guide for police officers and personnel in the state to help detect and prevent crime.Additional DGP Vikas Sahay of the Karai Police Training Academy and additional DGP K K Oza were present at the book launch.
“The book can be downloaded from the Gujarat police website. said Jha.
