AHMEDABAD: A 25-year-old woman from Sola area of the city on Tuesday filed a complaint with Gandhinagar police stating that she was allegedly kidnapped by her husband and his brother-in-law and two other friends who molested her in a moving car in the state capital.
The woman stated in her FIR lodged at Santej police station that she had wed a Gandhinagar-based man last year, but soon after their wedding her in-laws and husband began torturing her for dowry.

In November last year, the woman was sent to her parents' place and since then she lived at her father's home in Sola and worked at a private firm in Palodia village in Gandhinagar.
On May 25, her husband suddenly appeared at her office and asked her to come with him. When she refused, he along with his sister thrashed the complainant and forced her inside a car.
In the car, two of her husband's friends and his brother-in-law molested her.
They then took the car to a petrol pump near Pethapur village and tried to confine her in a house.
But the woman managed to find some broken tiles which she started throwing at them and was able to escape them. She then took help of locals there and called up her father.
Her father then reached and took her to Santej police station where they filed the FIR.
