AHMEDABAD: Be wary if someone on a two-wheeler rides close to you and blames you for causing an injury.
Milan Doshi, 38, a share broker, lost Rs 6 lakh to this con.
On Monday evening, Doshi — a resident of Judges Bungalow — had parked his vehicle at Supermall on CG Road, where he had gone to deposit cash with an anganwadi service. A man and woman parked their two-wheeler near Doshi’s car and accused him of rash driving.

The man even blamed Doshi for injuring the woman who was riding pillion.
According to the complaint lodged with the Navrangpura police, Doshi rode a little further took a U-Turn near Bodyline Crossroads and asked the two-wheeler rider to accompany him. While Doshi negotiated with the man, the woman stole the bag from the car.
By the time Doshi realized he was conned, the thevies had scooted.
