Make our cities world class: CM

Gandhinagar: CM Vijay Rupani has told all eight municipal corporations in the state to develop their urban areas at par with world-class cities by expediting constructions of town planning schemes along with works on amenities such as cleanliness, drainage water system, and recycling of waste water.
Rupani chaired the meeting of mayor, municipal commissioner, and standing committee chairmen of eight municipal corporations – Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Surat, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar and Gandhinagar, held at Gandhinagar on Friday.
To meet the rising demand of water in corporations, he emphasized to prioritizing works of drainage water system and recycling of used water.
