Gujrat: Provisional BA merit list declared

AHMEDABAD: The provisional merit list for 39 BA colleges affiliated to Gujarat University was announced on Tuesday. The merit list has 11,249 students while 14,355 seats are available in BA colleges. The final BA merit list will be announced on June 15.
The 1,148 students whose names are not on BA merit list, have been given till Wednesday to approach the admissions committee again with their documents, as their forms have been cancelled because of incorrect information.Gujarat University officials said these students can also get their names on the merit list if they get the errors rectified.
The provisional merit list for MA colleges affiliated to GU was also announced on Tuesday. Some 2,943 students are on the merit list while the total number of seats at MA colleges is 4,400.
