Western Railways to run special trains from Ahmedabad
AHMEDABAD: The Western Railway for the convenience of passengers during Ganapati Festival and to clear the extra rush during the season has decided to run special trains.
The two trains one each for Thivim and another for Madgaon will be from Ahmedabad city. According to officials train No. 09418 Ahmedabad – Thivim [Weekly] Special Train will leave Ahmedabad at 4.15 pm on Friday and will reach Vasai Road at 01.10 am on Saturday and arrive Thivim at 4.00 pm on Saturday.

Similarly the train No. 09417 Thivim – Ahmedabad will leave Thivim at 4.30 pm on Saturday and will reach Vasai Road on Sunday at 8.05 am and will reach Ahmedabad at 4.30 on the same day,.
The train will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class General Coaches.
The train will halt at Nadiad, Vadodara, Surat, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Ratnagiri, and Madure stations among others in both directions.
Similarly the train No. 09416 Ahmedabad – Madgaon will leave Ahmedabad at 09.30 am on Tuesday and will reach Vasai Road at 4.25 pm on same day and arrive at Madgaon at 09.10 am the next day that is on Wednesday.
Similarly, in return direction train 09415 Madgaon – Ahmedabad will leave Madgaon at 6.00 pm on Wednesday and will reach Vasai Road at 09.00 am on Thursday and arrive Ahmedabad at 4.05 pm on Thursday. The train will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class General Coaches. The booking will begin from July 20.
