Woman molested

Ahmedabad: A 35-year-old woman from the Jamalpur area of the city was molested by a 34-year-old man in the wee hours of Saturday when she was sleeping on terrace of her house. The man was later caught by woman’s husband and handed over to Gaekwad Haveli police who booked him for molestation.
The complainant told Gaekwad Haveli police that the accused, Wasim Shaikh alias Popat, a resident of Jamalpur, at around 3.30 am on Saturday lay down beside her and began touching her neck and breasts.As she woke up, he covered her mouth so that she could not scream and ran away.
The woman woke her husband, who tried to catch the molester but did not succeed. After a while, at around 4.45 am, the man again came near the complainant’s house and this time she identified him as the person who had molested her. She immediately told her husband about the molester lurking around the house. Her husband and other residents of the area caught Shaikh and called the police. Gaekwad Haveli police booked Shaikh for molestation.
