Andhra Pradesh: Tiff over cable TV bill leads to stabbing of man in Kurnool

TIRUPATI: In a bizarre incident, a cable TV operator was stabbed by his customer following a tiff over payment of cable TV bill at NGOs colony in Nandyal town in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.
According to Nandyal II town police, O Chandrasekhar Reddy - a cable TV operator approached one Peddanna at his residence at NGO's colony and told him he would have to settle the previous month's cable TV bill before 10 pm on Saturday night.

Enraged with the cable operator demanding to cough up the bill for the month, Peddanna took a knife and stabbed Chandrasekhar Reddy. Taken aback with the sudden development, Chandrasekhar Reddy raised an alarm following which local neighbours came to his rescues and he was subsequently shifted to the local government hospital for treatment.
Following a complaint, Nandyal II town police arrested the accused Pedannna against whom an attempt to murder case was booked.
