BENGALURU: Karnataka chief minister B S Yediyurappa on Monday said the cabinet expansion will take place as per schedule on Tuesday.
"I have already written a letter to the governor and asked chief secretary to make all arrangements. The swearing-in ceremony will be held between 10.30 am and 11.30 am on Tuesday,” Yediyurappa told mediapersons rubbishing speculations that he might postpone the expansion.
Yediyurappa, who has been running the one-man cabinet since July 26, said that only 13 to 14 MLAs will be inducted into the cabinet in the first round.

The CM had got a go-ahead from BJP national president Amit Shah on Saturday to undertake the exercise on August 20 when he met him in New Delhi.
At the meeting with Shah, the CM had submitted a list of 18 senior MLAs who he planned to induct. However, Shah had reportedly asked him to wait for his list, triggering speculations that it may not be held on Tuesday.
Yediyurappa said he was expected to get list from the high command by Monday afternoon.
The CM has been facing flak from the opposition parties for running a one-man cabinet since the BJP formed government in the state three weeks ago. "Is this what the BJP means by 'minimum government'? A cabinet without cabinet ministers? Will BS Yediyurappa wake up and stop our state from being mocked across the country? Karnataka needs a government. If BS Yediyurappa can't form one, he should step down,’’’ the Karnataka Congress had tweeted.
