BENGALURU: There has been a nip in the air over the past few days, prompting Bengalureans to plunge into their wardrobe in search of their woollens.
According to the
Met department, the maximum and minimum temperature recorded in the city on Sunday was 24.7°C and 15.8°C degrees respectively, more than two degrees lower than normal.
On Friday, the minimum temperature was 17.9°C and rose to 18.7°C on Saturday, only to fall by nearly three points a day later.
"We are entering the cold season and the temperature has been plummeting over the past few days. It will attain its lowest either in the third week of December or the first week of January. Right now, the temperature is hovering between 15°C and 17°C. This is quite normal for this time of year," said M B Rajegowda, agro-meteorologist.
