BHOPAL: A total of 52 people including an employee of the office district registrar co-operative societies tested positive for
Covid-19 in the state capital on Friday.
With the employee of co-operative department testing positive, office of the
Bhopal divisional commissioner was also closed for the next two days Both the offices were sanitised. The office of the district registrar co-operative societies is situated above the office of divisional commissioner.
Among those testing positive is also a 5-month-old infant from
Budhwara area of Old city.
With these 52 new positive cases, total number of positive cases in the city has crossed 1,806. In five days of June, a total of 216 positive cases have been reported in the state capital.
On the brighter side a total of 46 patients, who were admitted in different hospitals recovered from the disease and were discharged on Friday. With these new people recovering, a total of 1,157 patients have recovered from the disease in the state capital so far.
District administration and health department has advised people that they should not go out of their homes in the containment zones of the city. No casualties were reported from the state capital, however so far, a total of 61 casualties have been reported in the city.
