BHOPAL: Four bikers robbed a 49-year-old farmer of Rs 50,000 in
Lalghati Koh-e-Fiza on Friday. The victim hails from Rajgarh and had come to
Bhopal for his father’s treatment at a city hospital.
The entire incident was caught on

Laxminarayan Chandrawanshi brought his father to Bhopal for treatment on Friday morning and admitted him at a private hospital near Gufa Mandir in
Lalghati area of Koh-e-Fiza.
Around 11 am, he deposited cash at hospital’s cash counter. Meanwhile, a man approached Laxminarayan and took him outside where three of his accomplices were waiting.
SHO Bajpai , the suspects asked him the address of a government hospital and later started talking about his ‘Kurta’. Suddenly, one of the accused snatched Rs 50,000 kept in his kurta pocket and the accused fled the spot on their bikes. Laxminarayan tried to catch a pillion rider.
SHO Bajpai said that Koh-e-Fiza police reached the spot on getting information and registered a loot case against four unidentified accused. Police later tracked one of the suspects in Irani Dera, Nishatpura and detained him. Police suspect the suspects were keeping an eye on him ever since he deposited cash at the hospital and later robbed him.
This is fourth loot incident reported in the city this month since
Unlock 1 has started.
