BHOPAL: Burglars targeted three
locked houses in Teela Jamalpura containment zone and decamped with cash and valuables worth Rs 1.5 lakh.
Teela Jamalpura police have registered two separate cases of theft against unidentified accused.
Teela Jamalpura SHO Radheshyam Rehgar said, "The complainant Baby (35) wife of
Moeen Qureshi, resides with her family in
Indra Nagar area in Teela Jamalpura. Her husband works as a bus conductor at a private bus agency.
SHO Rehgar said, "Around a week ago, the area has been declared a containment zone and since then the family was residing at her relative's place. On Thursday, one of the family members of Baby asked her to lend some money. She gave him the keys following which her relative reached her home and tried to open the main door, but he faced difficulty while opening the door. Later, Qureshi came and entered the house through the back door and found that the main door was locked from inside and the entire house was ransacked."
The burglars also entered neighbouring houses including that of
Babita Ahirwar and others.
