Blind girl raped by biker who offered her lift in Bhopal

BHOPAL: A 13-year-old blind girl was allegedly raped in MP by a biker who offered her and her father a lift near Budhar railway station on Saturday. The minor was found writhing in pain in a forest late in the night and rushed to a hospital, where she is battling for life.
Cops are yet to identify the accused and are examining CCTV footage of the railway station. Around 7pm on Saturday, the girl and her father deboarded the train at Budhar station.They were looking for a mode of transport to their village, which is a long distance from the station, but couldn’t find anyone willing to drive them there. “The accused biker approached the father and offered to drop them. As it was already dark, the two agreed to take the lift.
“On a highway, the biker stopped near a paan shop and asked the girl’s father to get him some beedis. As soon as the man got off, he sped off with the girl and took her to a forest, where he raped her,” police said. A little after midnight, guards at a paper mill heard her screams and found her in a densely forested area.
