INDORE: Flight connectivity from Indore to three cities - Ahmedabad, Belgaum, and Kishangarh - resumed on Tuesday. While TruJet has re-started its seven-days-a-week direct flight between Indore and Ahmedabad, Star Air launched two direct flights to Belgaum and Kishangarh. Around 13 passengers flew from Ahmedabad to Indore on Tuesday, and 12 flew back, said airport officials. Star Air will operate its flights from Indore to Belgaum and Kishangarh on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Nine passengers each flew in from Belgaum and Kishangarh on Tuesday, and 13 flew from Indore to Kishangarh and 12 from Indore to Belgaum, said officials.
Air Asia has reduced the frequency of its Indore-Bengaluru flights from all-week to three days a week -- Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. “Decline in number of passengers on this route is one of the reasons,” said officials.
Indore now has 16 daily flights.
“Four airlines are operating flights on six routes under a special schedule issued by DGCA. We expect more flights to cities like Mumbai in the coming days,” said airport director Aryama Sanyal.
