BHOPAL: True to his name, 11-year-old Kautilya Pandit— popularly known as ‘Google boy’—wowed students with his exceptional repertoire of knowledge, ranging from physics to astronomy.
Kautilya, was seen interacting with students at the IES Public School here on Saturday. He has shot to fame after appearing in the popular television show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC) in 2013, leaving veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan immensely impressed.

Known for his retention prowess, Kautilya suggested students spend at least a couple of hours a day analysing their thought process. “By dedicating two hours to thought process daily, students can improve their retention ability to a very big extent,” said Kautilya, who hails from Panchkula in Haryana.
When students asked Kautilya about the law of gravity just to check his grasp over various subjects, the wonder kid gave the gathering a detailed reply.
On being asked what is communication, he said, “People have a wrong perception that talking over phone is communication. However, communication is a comprehensive term, which encompasses how one is able to understand and comprehend things. Learning is also an integral part of communication.”
Instead of rote learning, students should learn things thoroughly, said the ‘Google boy’.
“Rather than simply mugging-up their lessons, students should understand the subject in a comprehensive way. It will help them in the long run,” said Kautilya.
“Reading on a variety of subjects is always good a practice. It should not be limited to classroom books only,” Kautilya said.
The director of IES Group, Dr Sunita Singh, and other teaching staff were also present at the event.
